At the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Canada, a VR experience was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Vimy Ridge, a battle that occurred in World War 1 between the Allied Powers against the Central Powers. The Canadian victory at Vimy was a defining moment for Canada.
The VR experience takes you into the environments of the tunnels, the trenches and underneath a devastating artillery barrage. You are then transported to present day Vimy, France where the battle took place in front of the Vimy Memorial.

This experience can be seen in the interactive theatres in Sudbury, Canada and Copenhagen, Denmark, which has a holding capacity of up to 20 people and outfitted with computer vision hardware and software to react to the audience’s collective and individual movements as inputs. The real-time 3D animated content is seamlessly stitched and projected to both a 180 degree curved front screen and a 45’ x 45’ bottom screen staged floor merged with the curved blend between the 2 surfaces.
Interactive activities include log hop scotch, dissipation of reactive fog, light freeze tag, group control a raft down a river and hype up power lines that intensify with the more movement you make.

This interactive installation started at the Crayola Experience in Easton, Pennsylvania, USA, and is now in various locations
across the United States. This experiential activity allows the users to draw and create designs
and images, on an iPad app, and attach special abilities such as shimmer, multiply, spin, and change color to their drawings. These drawing are then
submitted to a computer that moderates the content to then be put in queue for
the users to interact with on the projection screen. Their drawings come from the
top of the screen into the scene where the users can trigger their drawings,
making them come alive with the special attributes that they attached to the
designs. This installation has garnered numerous awards.
